Collaboration Style

For each author, the fraction of their coauthors who sit in the same semantic-Leiden community. High values = topical homophily (an author collaborates within their own subfield); low values = topical brokerage (the author bridges disjoint subfields). Lift is the homophily score divided by the chance baseline (the rate at which two random authors share a semantic community).

Distribution

Homophily scores binned in steps of 0.05.
The dashed line marks the chance baseline. Mass to the right of the line is excess homophily β€” most authors collaborate far more within their semantic community than chance predicts. Mass to the left identifies topical brokers.

Default sort is by homophily descending. Click Lift to see who most over-indexes on their own subfield. Click ↑ on homophily to find topical brokers (lowest values).
